Description:

The Year Level Leader is responsible to the Principal through the Deputy Principal and Directors of Students for the development of high quality pastoral care of students. Representation from the Year Level Leader group is included in membership of the College Year Level Leader Team.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Multiple positions available
  • Level 3 Positions of Leadership
  • Start date: January 2025
  • Three-year tenure

Your duties will include:

  • Overseeing the wellbeing, behaviour management and social-emotional development of students in the assigned year
  • Fostering an exemplary standard of pastoral care of students, based on the framework of Restorative Practices
  • Leading and fostering the professional development of Pastoral Care Teachers
  • Supporting Student Leaders to develop and foster House identity and spirit.
  • Leading the implementation of social-emotional learning in the assigned year level, utilising the framework of the Respectful Relationships program
