Responsibilities:

  • Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes, as directed by the supervisor, to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise curriculum for a program which promotes the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of participants.
  • Effectively communicate with parents on participant’s skills and character. Maintains working knowledge of program and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
  • Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
  • Responds to all member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of and participation in program.
  • Other Duties: Assigned as necessary by the Youth Experience Director and Director of Youth Services.
  • Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience
  • Program specific experience required
  • Required certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED
