Responsibilities:
As a Youth Support Worker (YSW) at Kirinari, you will be providing care to young people in an Out Of Home Care setting based in Wagga Wagga.
Essential to these roles are:
- An understanding of trauma informed approaches to care and support
- An understanding of culturally sensitive practices
- A willingness to participate in on-going supervision, education and professional development to grow skills and capacity
- An understanding of person-centered care and gender sensitive practices
- Dedication to a teamwork approach
- Completion of, or willingness to complete a Cert 4 in Support Work or Youth Support is desired.
