ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Technical Support Assistant to join our Animal Sciences department at our Biggleswade campus. As a Technical Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
- Contributing to the day to day running of the Zoological Education Centre
- Participating in the care of animals housed within the centre; to include farm, pet and exotic species (chelonian, snakes, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and exotic mammals).
- Preparing resources and provide support to teaching staff and students during practical sessions
- Ability consistently to support a high quality learning experience for all students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain high standards of animal welfare
