Description

Sylvestre Kitchen and Bath, established in 1933 by Peter Sylvestre, has been a family owned and operated business serving the Valley for four generations.
While offering high-quality products at competitive prices, we organize, schedule and execute entire projects from the floors, cabinets, to the lighting. Making it an easy process, we offer complete transformational room renovations from concept to design to completion.

We are looking to hire a full time cabinet installer with at least 2-5 years of carpentry experience.

  • Install cabinetry
  • Install laminate countertops
  • Cut and install decorative mouldings such as crown moulding and light valance
  • Cut and finish of laminate countertops
  • Load/move cabinetry and other materials
  • Reading of cabinet plans
  • Communicate with customers/homeowners on job sites
  • General carpentry
  • This is general list of typical duties but is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities
  • Someone with at least a few years experience in carpentry
  • Ideally, someone with experience installing cabinetry and countertops (not necessarily required as long as they have carpentry experience)
  • Working at heights training – It would be best if the applicant has valid certification before start of employment so they can immediately go to job sites’
  • First aid training – Again, best if the applicant already has first aid training
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Someone who takes pride in their work

  • We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible
