SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Third in Charge/Room Leader to join our team at Paper Moon Nursery, Compton Acres, West Bridgford. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our nurseries while fostering a nurturing environment for children. You will play a key role in upholding our mission of providing high-quality childcare.
There is potential to be promoted to Deputy to cover MAT leave

• Oversee daily operations of the nursery during assigned shifts.
• Lead and support staff to ensure high standards of care and education.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement engaging activities for children.
• Mentor and train new staff members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in management or leadership roles within childcare settings.
• Strong background in early childhood education or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and children.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or nursery experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Passion for nurturing children’s development and well-being.
