This is not a strategic HR role and not an advisory consulting role. You will be on-site three days per week and expected to personally execute the work — recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations, and documentation. If you prefer advising leadership, designing programs, or working remotely, this role is not a fit. Scope of Work (Execution Required) Recruiting & Hiring (Primary Focus) Personally manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles Post jobs, screen resumes, and conduct first-round interviews Coordinate second-round interviews with leadership Maintain hiring momentum without constant oversight Support offers and onboarding using Paylocity Recruit for: Field installers and helpers Production / plant staff Office and coordinator roles project Managers supervisors Estimators Employee Relations (Hands-On) Be a visible, on-site HR presence Address attendance, performance, and conduct issues early Meet directly with employees when issues arise Draft corrective actions and documentation Support terminations when required Prevent issues from escalating to ownership unnecessarily HR Operations Support Maintain employee records and documentation Support onboarding and off boarding processes Build, Maintain, and update job descriptions Coordinate benefits and payroll support as needed Use Paylocity HR Edge for compliance guidance What This Role Is NOT Not remote or hybrid Not a strategic HR leadership position Not a policy-only or advisory role Not a VP, Director, or “Head of People” role This role is about doing the work, not directing others to do it.
