OUR CLIENT IS A GLOBAL MNC, ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS IN THE LOGISTICS/TRANSPORTATION SECTOR. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A SEA FREIGHT OPERATION ASSISTANT TO BE PART OF THEIR TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE CENTRAL– EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

• Handle shipment registration and update all internal/external systems with accurate data.
• Monitor incoming shipments, prepare sea freight documents, and ensure permit declarations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, security, and hazardous cargo procedures.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and vendors for smooth cargo movement and issue resolution.
• Manage reports, claims, document uploads, and collaborate on rates and space with procurement.

Requirements:

• With at least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar position in Freight Forwarding
