We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee key financial operations and ensure the accuracy of organizational accounts. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement audits. • Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, maintaining consistency and accuracy in account records.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead financial statement audits and collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation.
• Handle accounting tasks specific to non-profit organizations, including 990 filings.
• Analyze financial data to support reporting and decision-making processes.
• Train and mentor team members on accounting best practices and procedures.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize accounting workflows and systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Experience with financial statement audits and audit documentation.
• Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices, including 990 filings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
