Position SummaryReporting to the Lands & Taxation Manager, the Lands Officer – Environmental is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Environmental Management Plan to support effective environmental stewardship and sustainable land governance. This position conducts environmental site inspections, monitors compliance with applicable legislation, and supports emergency preparedness and community awareness initiatives. The Lands Officer – Environmental ensures all work aligns with Ch’íyáqtel policies, environmental standards, and applicable regulatory frameworks. Strong cultural sensitivity with a deep respect for Ch’íyáqtel culture, traditions, language, and protocols is essential.Key Responsibilities

Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home. Work is performed in an office and other community locations, both indoors and outdoors. Occasional travel, evening and weekend work may be required based on organizational need.
