Thomas Panels and Profiles is a family run business which was established 40 years ago on the family farm. Since then we have moved to our site in Leominster where we manufacture a range of products for steel frame buildings. We are proud to be the largest independent cold rolling company in the country. We are an ambitious and growing business, currently employing more than 110 people.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the loading and unloading of customer/Supplier vehicles to site health & safety regulations, ensuring safe and competent use of forklift truck. leading by example, setting excellent customer service and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring all Health & Safety is adhered to as per TPP policies and procedures
• Responsible for completing pre-operation safety checks daily and reporting all truck faults immediately
• Operate FLT Counterbalance/side loader to a high standard and within all rules and regulations
• Loading And unloading of finished products to vehicles within all rules and regulations
• Deliver a professional service to customers and visitors to site and issue Site Health and Safety rules upon arrival
• Record details of all visitors to site
• Manually handling goods when necessary
• Stacking products safely in designated areas
• Banding and packing products
• Order picking from an order sheet
• Ensure paperwork is accurately completed for delivery notes and stock control
• Maintain high quality standards of storage of finished product
• Communicating effectively and accurately with suppliers, clients and colleagues
• Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
• Warehouse duties as and when required

  Holiday:
  Our holiday calendar runs from January to December and we offer 23 days plus national bank holidays in England and Wales, with an additional 1 day after your 3rd Christmas and another additional day after your 5th Christmas with Thomas Panels and Profiles.
