Our brands are stocked and sold under the Shurtape, Frog, and T-Rex brands exclusively through our North American distribution network. Shurtape’s stated purpose is to provide better, easier solutions for everyday workplace tasks. The role of the Shurtape Summer Intern for Industrial Sales will be to drive product awareness, distributor engagement, and promotional activation. Markets involved will include but not limited to: Marine, Construction, HVAC, Automotive, Packaging, and Industrial MRO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Contacting both Shurtape Distribution Partners and End Use Customers via phone, email, and social media. Introduce the Shurtape family of Industrial brands to our targeted customers Promote new products and promotional specials Work with the Sales and Customer Service teams to establish and/or re-activate distribution partnerships WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: How to effectively connect with both End Users and Distribution within the Industrial market place Techniques for aligning and supporting the sales efforts of Shurtape’s Sales Outside sales team Effective promotional tactics for new product introduction The use of proven prospecting tools in the pursuit of targeted markets via D&B Hoovers The use of salesforce.com QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Graduate or working toward college degree.
