Serve as a backup for the front desk, which includes handling faxing, scanning, and other clerical duties as needed. Accurately enter billable time for attorneys into our timekeeping system. Save and name documents appropriately in Worldox, ensuring all files are organized and easily accessible. Transcribe dictation accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner. Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including filing, data entry, and correspondence. Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in an insurance defense or litigation setting. Proficiency in Worldox or similar document management systems. Familiarity with timekeeping software is a plus. Experience with transcribing dictation, with a focus on accuracy and speed. Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
