At Cash Generator we specialise in selling pre-owned and new products at discounted prices. In addition to this, we also buy pre-owned products from the general public who wish to raise cash quickly or simply have no need for the product. Once sold to us, our trained buyers will always provide a 28 day option for the customer in which they can buy their item back from us, for an additional fee. We buy anything of value from the general public so you would regularly be valuing mobile phones, games consoles, gold, musical instruments and many more unique items.
Cash Generator is a network of franchisees that span 100+ stores across England, Wales and Scotland. In Yorkshire you will be part of a ten store franchise network that is a family run business operating inside of the Cash Generator brand.
Daily you will be expected to:
· Lead your team by being the principal point of contact on the buying counter, leading by example by giving the right value of the goods at fair prices for the customers
· Ensuring the team maximise every sale and purchase every product from the general public by coaching, training and developing them
· Maximise online sales via Cash Generator website and other third party websites
· Display excellent merchandising skills and have high standards in store and back of house
· Manage all stocks efficiently ensuring stock rotation practices are followed and audits carried out on a regular basis
You must be:
· Techy and have an excellent product knowledge of anything electrical. You must keep up to date of new released technology and have a broad knowledge of various products such as the latest mobile phones, games consoles, televisions, jewellery, etc
· Driven with a proven track record, in a hands on customer facing environment where you have led your team by example
· Confident with a belief in yourself that you can take the business to the next level by maximising its profitability
· Flexible to travel across the 10 stores located in Yorkshire (when needed), preferably with your own transport
· Be dedicated and committed to the business ensuring the needs of the business are always met
· Competent and have a good understanding of profit and loss
· Have entrepreneurial flair, the ability to think outside of the box and make changes, in a non-corporate manor to drive profitability of the business
· A background from retail or hospitality would be advantageous

· Excellent starting salary around £28 - £30k per annum (dependent upon experience) plus a bonus scheme with OTE of around£35k.
