We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to join our construction company. As the Shop Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our equipment and materials shop, ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and organization of construction tools, machinery, and supplies. Your leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

· Supervision and Leadership: Lead a team of shop technicians and mechanics and ensuring that they perform their duties and to the highest quality standards.
· Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate and perform maintenance and repair activities on construction equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition and comply with safety standards.
· Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of construction materials, tools, and supplies, and collaborate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment as needed.
· Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that repaired equipment and tools meet industry standards and project requirements.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory transactions. Generate reports as necessary to track equipment utilization and maintenance schedules.
· Safety Compliance: Ensure that all shop activities, repairs, and maintenance are carried out in accordance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
· Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to prioritize equipment needs and support project timelines.
· Problem Solving: Identify equipment issues, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions to construction operations.
· Training and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training opportunities to shop personnel to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
