JOB SUMMARY:

Braydeston Court, Martham Lodge, Broadland House and Broadlands Park are a group of care homes dedicated to providing exceptional care for residents living with dementia, is seeking a skilled Bank Cook to join our team to cover Holiday, Sickness and any rota gaps. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious and nutritious home cooked meals for our residents. We offer a supportive and transparent work environment where your culinary skills can shine.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques and meal preparation
• Culinary qualifications or level 3 food safety certificate is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Prepare and cook home cooked meals in accordance with dietary requirements and menu specifications
• Ensure food safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and storage
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal schedules and optimise efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
