JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry production and a flair for creativity in dessert presentation. This role involves preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. The Pastry Cook will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in pastry production with a strong understanding of baking techniques.
  • Proficiency in cake decorating, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
  • Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking methods.
  • Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and presentation of pastry items.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
