Salary- Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464- 142,665 plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading   Your role   Multilingual NSW Whole of Government Translation Services provides language services to NSW Government agencies to remove language as a barrier to increase access to information and government services. The Program Manager, Translation Services and Performance is responsible for effective delivery of language services (predominantly for Multilingual NSW) through the assessment and allocation of projects to translators/interpreters and the accurate reporting against program objectives, workforce performance and targets. This role leads a team through change management initiatives for continuous improvement to support the delivery of quality and industry leading language services.   What you’ll do   Lead quality-driven translation services, including the standards, procedures and protocols across the translation project workflow, to meet the strategic objectives of Language Services and industry standards, within budget and timelines. Develop and maintain a performance framework to evaluate and track the effectiveness of Multilingual NSW translation services and initiatives, aligning indicators and targets with service quality, workforce capability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, whilst at the same time identifying opportunities and gaps for new service offerings. Provide strategic translation advisory services ensuring clear and detailed communication throughout the project delivery lifecycle, such as from clients to translators to internal production teams, for efficient and successful project completion.    Manage client and workforce feedback in line with standard policies and procedures, driving quality performance and service delivery.    You will also lead a team through transformation, work collaboratively across the organisation and sector whilst driving a continuous improvement and customer-focused culture.   What we’re looking for   We are looking for motivated and committed individuals with: Relevant tertiary qualifications in translation or equivalent experience in high volume translation project management Demonstrated expertise and experience in the set up and use of translation management systems, computer assisted translation tools and inclusive language practices, to manage high volume and quality translation projects.
