Key Responsibilities – Design and implement database architectures that align with business goals, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to deliver and support integration solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship, leading design and architecture discussions across projects. Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure database infrastructure supports business growth. Develop strategies for database performance tuning, backup and recovery, query optimization, indexing, and data governance. Research and implement emerging technologies and recommend tools or best practices to improve infrastructure performance and efficiency. Identify and manage risks related to database software and infrastructure, ensuring proactive mitigation. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining proper documentation and controls. Qualifications, Skills and Experience required: 10+ years’ experience in Database Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL) with 3+ years in leadership/team management role.
