We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as parental leave cover.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting daily transactions and periodic financial reporting, helping us deliver accurate, high-quality financials to our stakeholders. What the role involves:

• Complete bank reconciliations on a daily basis
• Support customer and intercompany invoicing
• Maintain fixed asset records
• Process employee expenses and credit card transactions
• Assist with month-end close, Journal entries and BAS preparation
• Support audit activities

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting role.
• System proficiency: experience of using SAP and intermediate user of Excel.
• Communication: excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork: ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Other required skills: attention to detail and time management skills to meet critical deadline.
