Job Description Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program. You will be teaching students in the role of facilitator, role model, coach and advisor. Incorporating Chamberlain Care philosophy to educate and embolden diverse nursing professionals in a culture where students and colleagues thrive and cultivate extraordinary nursing graduates. Part-time professors lead asynchronous discussions and teach 2 synchronous live lectures each week on Wednesdays; one between 7am-12pm Central Time plus one between 5pm-9:30pm Central Time. Professors will be available via email, online conferencing or telephone, to provide support and respond to student's enquiries in a timely manner. We are presently accepting applications from experienced faculty with experience teaching in the following areas of course specialization: NR222 Health and Wellness: This course introduces students to health promotion and preventive care activities throughout the life span. These activities are explored through biological, psychological, spiritual, environmental, and sexual domains. A variety of theories emphasizing health and well-being will be explored throughout the course. Healthy People objectives are examined. Health-promotion assumptions basic to nursing practice are emphasized. Chamberlain University courses follow an 8-week session plan: there are six 8-week sessions each calendar year (Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-Jun, Jul-Aug, Sep-Oct, & Nov-Dec). Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
