About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Hand to join our operations team at Cars24’s Laverton Refurbishment & Delivery Centre. This hands-on role is vital to maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-presented yard while supporting key vehicle operations — including test drive preparation, refurbishment logistics, and customer handovers. The ideal candidate will take pride in vehicle quality and presentation, be confident working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Handling & Yard Organisation Move and stock vehicles across designated zones for test drive prep, refurbishment, and deliveries. Coordinate offsite vehicle movements and assist with transporter loading/unloading. Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free yard layout at all times. Ensure vehicles are parked, labelled, and tracked accurately. Vehicle Quality & Condition Conduct basic condition reports for incoming and outgoing vehicles. Perform quick visual and presentation checks to ensure all vehicles meet Cars24’s quality standards. Identify and report any damage, cleanliness, or presentation issues immediately. Administrative & Customer Support Prepare registration certificates (rego certs) and related documentation for deliveries. Assist with customer handovers, ensuring vehicles are presented professionally and all paperwork is complete. Support stock audits, key management, and vehicle tracking when required. Operational Support Work closely with refurb, detailing, and logistics teams to streamline vehicle flow. Uphold all site safety and vehicle handling procedures.
