The Membership Assistant is responsible for maintaining the front desk, providing quality customer service and ensuring the safety of Club members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual Spanish required.
• At least 2 years of post-high school education.
• Excellent English & Math skills.
• Solid word processing and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds is strongly recommended.
• Adhere to criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

  Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Present a safe, well-organized front desk/entry with procedures for the Boys & Girls Club.
• Greet, monitor and track Club attendance, volunteers and visitors to ensure a safe Club.
• Communicate and disperse information about upcoming events and activities to parents/guardians, Club members, and the community.
• Assist Membership Coordinator with Kid Trax, CDA/YMCA responsibilities as given out by supervisor.
• Process program payments and membership applications.
• Quick learner with technology, specifically data tracking websites.
• Answer phone calls and help with timely and structured program check-in and check-out procedures.
• Assist with Club recognition and Special Events as needed.
• Requires the ability to stand for long periods and the ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend; hand dexterity to grasp small objects.
