This role includes managing seating arrangements, assisting with reservations, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Essential Functions and Duties: Greets guests and escorts them to their seats in a courteous manner. Presents menus and answers guest questions regarding the food and service. Manages seating arrangements based on restaurant activity and reservations. Performs opening and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is ready for service. Assists food and beverage staff with side-work and setup as needed. Maintains knowledge of operating hours, menu items, promotions, and specials to assist guests. Responds to guest inquiries and ensures their needs are met efficiently. Creates and manages reservations using the property reservation system. Maintains seating charts and confirms reservations, including large parties and special requests. Ensures a clean and organized work environment at all times. May assist with the setup and cleaning of function rooms when necessary. Attends department meetings and completes assigned projects.
