The incumbent will serve as a key liaison between the organization, union representatives, and statutory authorities to ensure a harmonious, compliant, and productive work environment. Job Responsibilities Union Engagement: Foster transparent and proactive communication with the unionized workforce. Address grievances, facilitate dialogue, and build trust-based relationships with union representatives. Statutory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to applicable labor laws and statutory requirements. Oversee timely filings, documentation, and audit readiness. Wage Negotiations: Lead and support wage discussions with union bodies and internal stakeholders. Prepare negotiation strategies and ensure alignment with organizational policies. IR Strategy Execution: Assist in developing and executing the plant’s Industrial Relations strategy in line with broader organizational goals. Monitor effectiveness and recommend improvements.
