ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director, Career Education, the Manager, Career Education Curriculum leads the development of K–12 career education curriculum and manages the review of locally developed courses and external learning opportunities.
The Manager ensures curriculum aligns with key policy documents, including the Ministerial Order on Student Learning and the Guiding Framework. They support the development of policies and processes for reviewing and approving locally developed curriculum and external learning, ensuring recommendations meet approval standards.
To deliver on branch priorities, the Manager supervises staff, oversees planning, and ensures curriculum supports equitable learning for all students. The role involves resolving issues related to career education programming, service provider procurement, data sharing, and policy development.
