We’re looking for an honest, skilled bartender who can handle a Friday night rush with a smile, mix a killer cocktail, crack open a Vermont craft beer, and keep the good vibes flowing. This is a part-time gig, and you’ll need to work nights, weekends, and some daytime shifts – because that’s when the fun happens. Sound like your kind of scene? Read on.

Responsibilities

• Craft Great Drinks: Mix and serve a full range of beverages – from signature cocktails to local brews – quickly and accurately, without cutting corners.
• Own the Bar Experience: Provide friendly, attentive service that fits our casual vibe. Chat with regulars, welcome new faces, and make everyone feel at home.
• Hustle with a Cool Head: Handle high-volume rushes (weekend nights can get busy!) while keeping your cool. You’ll prioritize orders, multitask, and stay organized so every guest gets top-notch service.
• Teamwork: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team – jump in to help servers, coordinate with the kitchen on food orders, and ensure service is seamless. We all chip in wherever needed.
• Bar Upkeep: Keep the bar clean, stocked, and safe. That means restocking bottles and kegs, slicing garnishes, handling the register, and making sure every drink meets our quality standards.
• Contribute to the Vibe: Bring a positive attitude every shift. Help maintain the fun, eclectic atmosphere by being yourself and taking pride in your work. Our culture is something we all build together every day.

Qualifications

• Bartending Experience: You’ve spent time behind a bar and it shows. (Ideally 1+ years of bartending or solid serving experience in a busy spot.) You know the pace and hustle it takes to keep drinks flowing and guests happy.
• Honest & Reliable: We trust you with our bar, our cash, and our reputation. You show up on time, ready to work, and you do the right thing – even when no one’s watching.
• Team Player: You thrive in a team-oriented environment. You communicate well, have your co-workers’ backs, and believe that no job is too small if it helps the team.
• Customer-Focused: Friendly, approachable, and professional with patrons. You can chat up the bar crowd, handle the occasional difficult customer with grace, and always put service first.
• Flexible Schedule: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some daytime shifts. (If you’re looking for a 9-to-5, this isn’t the gig for you.) Our busiest times are when most people play – and you’re up for that.
• Work Ethic & Pride: You take pride in doing a job well. Whether it’s pouring the perfect pint or scrubbing down the bar at closing, you give it your all and it shows. Hard work doesn’t scare you.
• Legal Serving Age: You meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol in Vermont. (18+ years of age.)
