Process leases, licences, and encroachments. Request for quotation to land and lease brokers and appraisers. Ensure leases are properly executed in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and Standard Operating Procedures. Investigate Land Titles, Alberta Corporate Registry, and Municipal property files. Determine encroachment agreement eligibility. Coordinate with, and support, internal departments on lease and encroachment agreements. Prepare reports and make recommendations to management. Visit sites and facilities. Elevate issues to management, if necessary. Performs other lease and encroachment related duties as required.     QUALIFICATIONS   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:   Sound working knowledge of the Municipal Government Act, Municipal Bylaws, Provincial and Federal Acts and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and other relevant documents, guidelines, and regulations. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Creative problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills. Strong negotiation skills. Proficient in various Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and utilize other relevant computer-based application programs.      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:   Two (2) year diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field is required.
