REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, you must have or willing to complete:

• Certificate III or IV in Disability
• Current Victorian Drivers licence.
• Completed First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
• NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate - “Quality, Safety & You”
• Current Working with Children Check Victoria for paid employment.

As a residential support worker, indicative responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Team Leader in the development and implementation of Person-Centred Plans (PCPs), ensuring the promotion of independent living skills through both formal and informal teaching methods.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication management, personal hygiene, food preparation, dressing, and mealtime support, while maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate records related to medical, behavioural, and financial documentation, adhering to guidelines, and ensuring the collection and storage of receipts when handling resident funds.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks such as payroll, compliance reports, and client procedural paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, while strictly following genU policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
