There is a fixed-term, full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight for one year. This job will predominately be for Immunology section. The department is multifaceted, providing a broad range of diagnostic testing, including clinical biochemistry assays, infectious serology, autoimmune panels. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to essential diagnostic services that support patient care across diverse specialties. Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of diagnostic and investigative tests in immunology section, including autoimmune assays, serum electrophoresis and infectious serology. Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality test results in alignment with established laboratory standards and protocols. Operate, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting advanced laboratory instruments and technologies. Participate actively in quality control and quality assurance procedures. Maintain precise documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Collaborate with scientific and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe laboratory environment. Contribute to ongoing quality and process improvement initiatives within the department.
