MajorDuties
As a Public Health Analyst, you will: Develop, support, monitor, implement, and evaluate current or projected complex programs related to mental health prevention and promotion and substance use and overdose prevention involving governmental and non-governmental organizations from multiple sectors of the community. Establish systematic methods for program execution and advocacy that includes the identification of objectives, evaluation criteria, and legal and regulatory compliance requirements. Prepare and present comprehensive program reviews to include recommendations on curtailing or expanding programs and program effectiveness. Research and analyze risk factors and protective factors related to mental health, substance use, and overdose, including those related to controversial, complex, and often conflicting factors. Disseminate information to professional groups, private and public sector organizations, and health agencies. Collect and compile qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.
