ole: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Electrical Subcontractor (Mission Critical / Data Center)

We are currently seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join a leading electrical subcontractor based in Los Angeles, with a strong pipeline of Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
This role is a key opportunity to step into a stable contractor with a reputation for excellence in new-build and retrofit electrical packages. The position is office and site based, with 2–3 days per week spent either in the LA office or on sites within a 60-minute radius.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing projects in the $1m to $25m range, typically lasting from 3 months up to 18 months. You will oversee financial, contractual, and operational delivery, reporting into a Project Executive and directly managing a team of 3–6 CM’s and Superintendents who drive field execution.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proven track record delivering projects as a Project Manager or Senior PM for an electrical subcontractor.
• Experience in mission critical / data center environments highly preferred, though strong industrial or infrastructure backgrounds with ATS, generator, or cutover scope will be considered.
• Ability to oversee project values from $1m–$25m with durations up to 18 months.
• Experience leading and developing teams of CM’s and Superintendents.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with GC’s.
• Understanding of financial reporting, scheduling, change management, and contract administration.

• Manage multiple electrical subcontracting projects simultaneously, ranging from $1m retrofits to $25m+ long-term new builds.
• Lead all phases of project delivery: estimating support, scheduling, procurement, submittals, manpower planning, and closeout.
• Supervise and mentor CM’s and Superintendents, ensuring project milestones and budgets are consistently achieved.
• Interface with General Contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain strong relationships.
• Oversee technical scope including Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), generators, cutover operations, UPS systems, and related mission critical infrastructure.
• Maintain rigorous standards for quality control, testing, commissioning, and safety compliance.
• Manage change orders, financial forecasting, and reporting to ensure profitability and alignment with company goals.
