This role ensures the timely availability of parts and supplies needed to support vehicle maintenance and repair activities while maintaining accurate inventory records and fostering strong vendor relationships.   The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent support to technicians, vendors, and internal customers.   Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management * Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain accurate records of parts inventory. * Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed. * Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and maintained in a safe and organized manner. * Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock or critical inventory items. * Maintain inventory accuracy within inventory management systems. Parts Ordering & Procurement * Order replacement parts, supplies, and materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels. * Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information. * Place purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. * Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers. * Assist in identifying cost-effective purchasing solutions while maintaining quality standards. Customer Service & Operational Support * Assist maintenance technicians and fleet personnel in locating and obtaining required parts. * Issue parts to work orders accurately and in a timely manner. * Provide updates regarding part availability, order status, and expected delivery timelines. * Support maintenance operations by ensuring parts are available to minimize vehicle downtime. * Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, technicians, and internal stakeholders. Administrative Responsibilities * Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, purchase orders, and receiving records. * Assist with reporting and recordkeeping related to inventory and purchasing activities. * Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. * Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
