JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our clinical operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems, with expertise in various medical specialties including psychiatry, cardiology, and critical care. The CMO will be responsible for overseeing patient care quality, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving clinical excellence across the organization.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably as a CMO or equivalent position.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, clinical practices, and healthcare regulations across various specialties including but not limited to oncology, pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, neurology, endocrinology, and emergency medicine.
• Familiarity with medical imaging technologies such as CT scans, mammography, and interventional radiology.
• Experience with critical care environments including ICU experience, PACU operations, and trauma medicine.
• Strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings or level I/II trauma centers.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive organizational goals related to patient care quality. • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure adherence to best practices in medical treatment and patient safety.
• Oversee the integration of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and EMR systems to streamline patient documentation and data management.
• Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in areas such as patient service, triage, and discharge planning.
• Facilitate clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve treatment protocols.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards to maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality and care quality.
• Provide leadership in areas such as acute care, outpatient services, and telehealth experience.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health education and preventive care.
