Job Description As Engineering Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Engineering department, ensuring smooth coordination of maintenance activities, documentation control, and communication across departments. You will play a key role in supporting preventive maintenance programs, tracking work orders, managing records, and assisting the Engineering leadership team during both pre-opening and operational phases. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up on work orders. Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance schedules, service reports, and contractor documentation. Support the Engineering Manager in tracking maintenance performance and reporting. Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with Purchasing for spare parts and materials. Assist in monitoring inventory of engineering supplies and equipment. Coordinate contractor access, work permits, and safety documentation. Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and audit requirements. Support pre-opening activities including documentation setup, asset listing, and system organization. Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to ensure operational continuity. Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital) for all engineering records. Qualifications Diploma in Engineering, Technical Studies, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in engineering administration, maintenance coordination, or hotel engineering support role. Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems) is preferred. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
