Description
SAIC is seeking qualified Network Engineer for an Air Force TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. This position supports US and coalition exercise networks as well as USAF and DoW operational systems including Non-Secure Internet Protocol Network (NIPRNET), Secure Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNET), commercial internet, and video teleconferencing (VTC). The Network Engineer will: · Design, plan, build, deploy, configure, test, monitor, and maintain DoW and USAF network systems and related hardware, software, licenses, and certifications. · Implement network upgrades, system software patching, and security compliance in accordance with USAF Instructions, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management requirements, and maintenance task orders. · Coordinate with USAF IT Technical Planners to plan and complete exercise-related networking tasks and requests. · Research, analyze, recommend, and document possible resolutions or actions to resolve network problems and improve network performance. · Coordinate and communicate with external organizations to submit network issue tickets, diagnose network problems, and then resolve network problems. · Monitor status of projects and tasks, prepare milestone status reports, and present status to DoW and USAF officials.
