School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Part time (80% FTE), continuing position Base salary will range from $82,057 – $109,246 (Academic Level A) + 17% Superannuation Based at our Dutton Park campus About This Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Associate Lecturer to join our world-class School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your teaching practice and engage in teaching innovation that will expand your teaching expertise and profile. The current operational requirements of the role will include leading and supporting the management of the School’s Internship Training Program (ITP) and teaching within other associated programs across the School. As part of this role, you will work closely with partners at the National Alliance for Pharmacy Education (NAPE) and manage the School’s cohort of casual teaching staff. Key responsibilities will include: Internship Training Program: Lead collaboration, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and educator support (APC, NAPE & workplace educators), while providing pastoral care to interns and developing and delivering seminars and key elements of the ITP and other related programs. Teaching: Deliver and enhance high-quality pharmacy education by teaching and assessing students across levels, contributing to curriculum and pedagogy development, coordinating facilitators, supporting student engagement and collaborating to share best practices. Citizenship & Service: Contribute to School and University community life by modelling UQ values, engaging in professional development, strengthening external relationships, serving on committees, and supporting student recruitment and School promotion.
