Reports to: Director of Nursing   Position Status: Full-time.     Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with some on-call duties   Job Summary: The Staffing Coordinator will coordinate all staffing needs for all assigned units and will communicate and resolve all scheduling needs as appropriate.   Essential Functions / Duties:  * Coordinate staffing and scheduling for a 24/7 nursing and assisted living facility * Maintain a schedule of RNs, LPNs, and nurse aides * Replace staffing for call-ins and other scheduling issues * Document staff absences, leave, vacations and tardies * Communicate staff absences, leave, vacations, and tardies to appropriate Director of Nursing and payroll * Document timeclock corrections and report to payroll * Assist with onboarding for new nursing staff * Gather daily census data and post to nurses stations * Attend all stand-up meetings and report on staffing needs/issues * Communicate scheduling updates to staff as needed * Assist with administration and tracking of tuberculosis screening and testing for staff building-wide * Manage skin care protocol; round weekly with wound care doctor; update wound care plans and assist in the development of individualized plans of resident care per assigned unit or as needed/requested. * Support clinical nursing team with nursing and caregiving duties as needed or assigned. * Support nurse management as part of clinical and staffing on-call rotation.   * Please refer to the Physical and Other Requirements section for abilities that are essential as they relate to the ability to do duties listed above.   Education and Experiences: Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.  Prior experience in a similar working environment is preferred, but not a requirement of the position. This position requires an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) in the state of Missouri.        Abilities:   The successful candidate will have a poised, professional demeanor, and a positive attitude.
