The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region. The Organisational Development Team’s primary focus is to assist IUIH meet its strategic objective of expanding and maintaining a competent and enabled health workforce. With continued workforce expansion, I the focus is on development, management and implementation of frameworks and programs to: increase Indigenous workforce participation, build required workforce skill sets, train existing staff to maximise opportunities for business development and quality of care, build workforce pathways, create and nurture an innovative, inclusive, reflective and respectful environment built on Aboriginal Ways. About the Role? The purpose of the Administration Officer is to provide essential administrative and logistical support (e.g facilities, supplies, equipment,) to staff, trainees and or students. The role ensures that all trainees and / or learners of IUIH receive quality assistance throughout their employment and learning journey and that employment, training and assessment operations run smoothly, efficiently accordingly to GTO and RTO employment, enrolment processes and record keeping. This role supports the workforce initiatives of the IUIH aligned to Our Ways and in accordance with GTO and RTO Standards. Your day to day duties may include: Provide essential administration duties to staff to support upcoming training, orientation and program days as scheduled. Assist staff, students and/ or trainees with any required paperwork along the traineeship and training journey Maintain compliance records, including employment and / or accredited training for student and trainees Maintain accurate, auditable records of all student documents and records according to relevant organisational and compliance requirements and systems (e.g. aXcelerate, Workday). Assist with administration of monthly progress reports. Monitor and Support individual designated mailbox enquires across Organisational Development’s business units individual designated mailbox enquires. About You?
