It is a key software application international regulatory bodies in the chemical industry.    The successful candidate will work with the hazardous substances team to design, develop and continuously improve the IUCLID solution package: the application database, reporting database, publishing pipeline, and the windows server infrastructure that under pins it, operating across the full solution development lifecycle. Strong SQL skills are essential. Familiarity with the deeper infrastructure layer is not required on day one, but the appetite to grow into it (supported but multiple vendors) is.    The role involves participating in international IUCLID working groups, implementing updates and upgrades to the platform, assessing emerging IUCLID adjacent tools for their fit with EPA’s work, and managing and improving the internal tools that surround it, such as: Power BI reporting, web publishing of IUCLID data. It offers an opportunity to contribute to an international community of IUCLID users and the management of scientific data.    You will manage relationships with multiple vendors to maintain and improve the platform.
