Overview:
The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and the Technology, Design, and Technical Education business services team is seeking a Business Assistant II for the USU Eastern (Price) Campus. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities include providing support in hiring, inventory, payroll, purchasing, and travel services, which will contribute to the success of the Career and Technical Education department. This position requires an individual to be detail-oriented, act with high integrity, operate autonomously, provide excellent customer service, and contribute effectively to the team.
This position is located in Price, Utah
Responsibilities:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four years of related work experience, or an associate degree/technical training plus two years of related work experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a business field is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and account reconciliation.
• Understanding of methods, practices, and terminology used in preparing and maintaining financial and statistical records/reports.
• Familiarity with purchasing policies and practices for a public institution.
• Proficiency with computer programs, including spreadsheets and relational databases.
• Competence with basic office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephone systems.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business data and personal information.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.

  Advertised Salary: $38,720 - $42,750 commensurate with experience ADA:
  Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
