This role acts as a key interface across commercial, product, and strategy teams, contributing actionable insights and structured analysis to advance new business initiatives. Location: Remote-based in Sao Paolo, Brazil area, with occasional onsite visits to Shift4 office in area. Responsibilities Conduct market, industry and competitive research to support strategic planning Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market segments, partnerships and revenue streams. Develop, track and report KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics for new initiatives and sales actions. Assist the commercial team with lead generation, prospect analysis and partner qualification. Gather insights from clients and stakeholders to inform value propositions and product requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal and Operations) to ensure alignment and implementation success. Monitor performance of ongoing partnerships and identify opportunities to optimize value and scale. Qualifications 5 - 7+ years of experience as a Business Development Analyst. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related - experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Demonstrated experience in business analysis, business development, strategy, or commercial planning. Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides). Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with structured data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English in professional business settings. Preferred Qualifications (Additional experience that is a plus to have) Experience in SaaS, technology, payments, e-commerce, or retail environments. Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Familiarity with BI/analytics tools and SQLCore Competencies. Strategic thinking and commercial awareness. Critical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High degree of ownership, initiative and accountability.
