JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, curry cooking, tandoor operation, along with experience in restaurant management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Atleast 5 years of proven experience in a curry and tandoor Chef in restaurant.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and provide exceptional customer service
  • A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality

  • Prepare curries and tandoor items like naan, roti, kebabs as per orders.
  • Manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency
  • Implement and enforce food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
