OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all food handling practices meet safety standards. Your expertise in the kitchen will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on grilling techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines throughout the cooking process.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.
  • Assist in meal preparation tasks as required, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
  • Provide excellent service by ensuring that all dishes are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
