Summary: Humanitary Medical Center is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations. Responsibilities: 1. Patient Care (Clinical Duties) * Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) * Prepare patients for exams and procedures  * Assist physicians during examinations  * Administer injections or medications * Collect lab specimens (blood, urine, etc.) * Perform lab tests * Pre-visit must do 48 hours in advance 2. Patient interaction * Greet and room patients * Explain procedures and answer basic questions * provide instructions for medications or follow-up care * ensure patient comfort and confidentiality 3. Administrative duties * Update and maintain patient records (EHR/EMR systems) * Handle phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries * Complete forms and documentation (Pap Smer and PRP) 4. Insurance and Billing * Verify Insurance Information * Assist with coding and billing process 5.
