ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidjigal people and the Gamaygal people upon whose ancestral lands our University stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands. Our vision is to be a leading public university of technology recognised for our global impact. We are a dynamic and innovative university, ranked by the Times Higher Education as Australia’s top young university, and located on Gadigal land (Ultimo, NSW).
As the Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will undertake research on quantum error correction and large-scale, error-corrected system design utilising Antimony donors in Silicon. You will investigate how higher spin donor systems can be used for computation, utilising concepts such as measurement based quantum computing, cluster state machine guns, third quantisation and code foliation. You will also be involved in creating new techniques and software tools to perform near real time resource estimation and derive performance analytics on the physical resource costs associated with implementing these algorithms on fully error-corrected fault-tolerant quantum computers.
