Admin & Waiting List Manager - Care of the Elderly (CoTE), Neurology & Stroke, Band 5
To provide an operational overview to the Medical Divisional Management Team relating to all aspects of waiting list planning, capacity planning and scheduling within for both Diagnostic & Planned appointments.
The post holder supports the Medical Division’s General Management Team in the delivery of 18 week waiting times, Cancer and Diagnostic targets as well as leading mutually agreed service improvement initiatives in line with strategic aims. The post holder will work in close partnership with multidisciplinary teams to drive improvement, embed change and standardise practice, based on local requirements, national guidelines and clinical best practice. The role will also supervise and support the secretary supervisors whose teams provides traditional secretarial support to the consultant & nursing teams. With a focus on providing a quality patient service, this role will supervise their administration teams whilst retaining responsibility for undertaking and/or overseeing more complex tasks.
This is a key post that will manage and implement administrative systems to achieve local GHNHSFT and National waiting time targets by: -
