PURPOSE The VAS product manager is responsible for leading the strategy, development and optimisation of our Value Added Services pillar, where we can provide additional revenue generating solutions that complement merchants existing payment acceptance solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understand the competitive landscape of payments and payment-related industries using data and insights to drive the solution and deliver effective feature sets within APAC. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers/partners, focussing on product enhancements and revenue generation Product Strategy: Define the product vision for existing revenue generating Value Added Services (VAS) including Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), Installment Payment Plan (IPP), and define new VAS solutions such as Merchant Cash Advance (MCA), including the products purpose and target market servicing both customer present and customer not present Product Roadmap: Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the business Product Lifecycle Management: Own the entire product lifecycle, from concept and business case development to launch and ongoing management Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure products comply with market regulations Collaboration: Work closely with numerous stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales and Partnerships to drive product uptake/adoption Expansion: Support growth of product suite across our key markets in Asia and Oceania Market Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis, review product sets against internal and external offerings and analyse product performance Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate across the organisation to develop effective go-to-market strategies, leveraging benchmarking and user experience research.
