• Develops instructional materials, aligned with identified learning objectives, course competencies, and instructional interventions, to support both student self-service use and use in virtual one-to-many events.
• Provides effective, relevant, and engaging one-to-many virtual events aligned with identified learning objectives.
• Continually develops knowledge, skills, and expertise through active participation in faculty learning community and other developmental opportunities.
• Provides proactive, relevant, timely, and effective one-to-one virtual instruction to students in a specific course or domain.
• Facilitates student communities to support peer collaboration, effective faculty interaction, and student development.
• Student-centered and provides effective one-to-one virtual coaching to help students achieve personal, academic, and career goals.
• Adapts instructional and coaching practices to common and typical student needs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Nursing and all applicable licenses and certifications.
• Unencumbered compact/multistate RN licensure or single state license in the state of residence (if non-compact State) with additional licenses in WA, TN, and other states as required.
• 2 years of highly successful practice, based on student outcomes, in the role area/practice.
• CNE Certification.
• Demonstrated subject matter expert in Nursing Education.
• Available to work a student-centered schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Nursing preferred. Education must be from an accredited institution. Education is verified.

• Strong experience with distance education and distance learning students

  Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule will be determined by student and team needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Travel Requirements:

• Primarily works remote within the continental United States but is available to travel to meetings as required. As opportunities arise, it is expected for the full-time Lead Evaluator to attend School/College Summits or other events because it provides professional development and networking opportunities, as well as staying updated with initiatives at WGU.
