JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, financial management, and regulatory reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work related experience
• Experience with double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial report writing
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including accrual accounting, cash flow analysis, and budgeting
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Perform journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounting
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Prepare regulatory reports as required by governmental agencies
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for financial management
• Interpret financial reports for management to support decision-making
