Grade 9/10 - $129,464 - $142,665 p.a. + superannuation and annual leave loading A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.     The roles   The Senior Project Officer roles (ongoing) will lead the design, development and delivery of high-quality training programs for Homes NSW staff with overseeing program design, governance, quality, consistency and outcomes across the organisation. You will set and guide the direction for training and onboarding initiatives, ensuring business processes, service standards and organisational priorities.   In this role, you will provide guidance to Project Officers, setting priorities, supporting the development of training content, and ensuring delivery aligns with program intent and standards. You will work closely with TAFE NSW, Registered Training Organisations and District teams to uplift capability across a wide range of operational roles. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on collaboration, innovation and improving workforce capability at scale.   You will play a key role in influencing program effectiveness by identifying capability gaps, analysing feedback and shaping improvements to ensure training remains relevant, practical and aligned to organisational priorities.  The roles include statewide travel and attendance at meetings or co-delivery sessions in Parramatta, supporting key training initiatives across Homes NSW.   The Senior Project Officer role (temporary) will design, implement and deliver two workforce capability initiatives, arising from the Homes NSW People Matters Employees Survey Working Group on Recruitment and Consistency. One initiative will focus on strengthening recruitment integrity, consistency and candidate experience. The second initiative will focus ensuring all new Homes NSW colleagues feel welcomed, informed and confident from day one.  This role will require strong program coordination and stakeholder engagement capability, including the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams, align competing priorities, and support the delivery of measurable improvements in workforce capability and experience. What you’ll do   As part of the Housing Practice Improvement team, Homes NSW Service Delivery & Assurance Hub, you will design, plan, and lead the delivery of projects and/or training programs that build capability across the Homes NSW workforce. As the Senior Project Officer (ongoing) you’ll develop new training initiatives, evaluate existing programs, and collaborate closely with TAFE NSW, RTOs and District stakeholders. The Senior Project Officer (temporary) will strengthen our recruitment processes and ensure we recruit the right people for the job and induct into our organisational culture with consistency and fairness.   You will also synthesise data to inform program design, work closely with Subject Matter Experts in co-delivery of training or recruitment activities, and contribute to strategic workforce capability uplift across NSW, ensuring initiatives are evidence-based and responsive to frontline needs.
